Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. BlueManager runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
What happens when the free trial ends?
If you don't choose a plan, your account becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted: you can still view and download everything, and pick up where you left off as soon as you subscribe. Any trial days you have left are added on top when you subscribe early.
Where is my data stored, and who owns it?
You own your data. It's stored on servers in Johannesburg, South Africa, with daily backups, and each company has its own separate database. We never sell it or use it for advertising. Read the BlueManager Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel the monthly plan from inside the app and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. There's no lock-in and no cancellation fee. See the Terms of Service.
Will it work for my type of business?
If you quote, take a deposit, do the work and invoice, it will. You can switch off steps you don't need (like supplier orders or commission), rename steps and job types, and choose a simple or measured quote layout.
Do I need SMS or an email account?
No. Quotes and invoices can be sent from day one. Connect your own business mailbox so they come from your address, and optionally an SMS account (BulkSMS, SMSPortal or Clickatell) for text messages, which you pay the provider for directly.
